Birthplace: Stuffione, Ravarino, Modena, Italia

Date of Birth: 08/01/1944

Oooooh…. Nicoletta Machiavelli. What a fantastic name! So many historical connotations and revelations and high-brow lingo Mr. Skin could revel in, given the infamous Renaissance political philosopher Niccoló Machiavelli shares an almost identical name with the actress… So tempting, but Mr. Skin doesn’t really want to study, then teach a history lesson today—he just wants to chill and see some naked boobs, which Nicoletta is happy to provide along with some bush action, too. Born in Ravarino, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, the dark-haired diva appeared in predominantly Italian films. She also starred as Scarabea in the West Germany film Scarabea – How Much Land Does a Man Need? (1969), which was filmed in Italy; the role garnered the star a nomination for best actress at the German Film Awards, the equivalent of an Oscar. She appeared in a total of 35 films, including a few Americans might have heard of, like Navajo Joe (1966) with Burt Reynolds, where she played Estella; and as Marquita in Candy (1968) with Richard Burton and Marlon Brando. In her own Italy, she’s known for roles in Anyone Can Play (1967) with Ursula Andress, as Luce in The Most Important Thing: Love (1975), and as Sylva in Dirty Weekend (1973) with Marcello Mastroianni. And on Mr. Skin, she’s known for Bawdy Tales (1973), co-written by the scandalous Pier Paolo Pasolini. In it, Nicoletta plays Duchessa Caterina di Ronciglione, who gets suggestive in a sheer gown in one scene, then gives up the wardrobe altogether in another, showing all her furry bits and hard tips. She retired from acting after 1983, and moved to Seattle, Washington, in 1985, becoming a college teacher and a private Italian tutor. Nicoletta passed away in November 2015 at the age of 71.
