The popular French comedy Et la tendresse? ...Bordel! (1979), a.k.a. Tenderness, My Fanny, follows three couples whose various extremes all lead to the nuthouse. Marie-Catherine Conti and Jean-Luc Bideau are a decadent pair who don’t have time for romance. In contrast, Régis Porte and Anne-Marie Philipe are an oblivious pair of romantics who don’t let reality interfere with their love for each other and themselves. It’s left to Bernard Giraudeau and Evelyne Dress to be a truly decent couple--although it helps that Evelyne gets insight from taking care of various psychos at her job. There’s also a naughty nurse on duty there, which gives kinky Eurobabe Brigitte Lahaie a chance to shine in a classy production.
