Young Rubin (James Simenc) and Lilly Robinson (Katie Peabody) are newlyweds expecting their first child, but their bright future is almost completely obliterated when a busted tire leads to a car accident that crushes Rubin’s arm and almost kills Lily and the unborn baby. That traumatic event changes them for the worse. Then years later, Dani Dupree (Kelsey Christian) and Kaitlin Sanbourne (Bonnie Jean Tyer) have a chance meeting at a diner and decide to travel to Los Angeles together.
