The Beach Boys sang "Wish they all could be California girls," and that’s easy to understand once you lay eyes on California-born bombshell Alexandra Hay. The pretty blonde is sadly no longer with us, but she left a legacy of lust beginning with a 1967 episode of The Monkees. She followed that up with a role in the Oscar-winning Sidney Poitier/Spencer Tracy film Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967). After seeing her bright, beautiful face in the window of Tracy's car, Mr. Skin answered the question of who's coming to Alexandra! Her success with Spencer propelled her into the films The Ambushers (1967), Star Spangled Salesman (1968), How Sweet It Is! (1968), and Skidoo (1968). Also in 1968, she became skinfamous for her "lewd" role in the play The Beard, for which she was arrested on 14 nights. She was ultimately protected by the First Amendment, but those nights in jail couldn't have been fun. That didn't dissuade Alexandra from making her nude debut on-screen in 1971's The Love Machine by showing her lovely breasts. After a titillating but apparently titless turn in 1,000 Convicts and a Woman (1971), Ms. Hay's hooters returned in the comedy How to Seduce a Woman (1974). Considering that Alexandra gets photographed topless in the movie, it should be called How to Seduce a Man. Although that was her final cinematic skindeavor, Alexandra continued to seduce viewers via clothed yet captivating roles in shows like Police Story and movies like The One Man Jury (1978). She passed away in 1993 and we've been crying from multiple areas ever since.
