After growing up in theaters and on film sets thanks to her director father and actress mother, it’s no surprise that this slender starlet decided to join the family business. After studying acting at Tara Performing Arts High School in Boulder, Colorado, the Iceland-born Álfrún made her film debut in 2014’s Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead, the sequel to the acclaimed zombie horror comedy. She then started to make a name for herself in Icelandic film and television, in series like Mannasiðir (2018) and features like Iceland Is Best (2020), even assisting on production crews for a number of projects. But it’s her provocative portrayal of Yrsa on the Vikings sequel series Valhalla, specifically when she wets her wonder twins while bathing in a river, that has us at full mast.
