This sexy Swedish-speaking Finnish actress comes from a family of entertainers. Her father is director Erik Pöysti, who himself is the son of actors Lasse Pöysti and Birgitta Ulfsson. Alma studied at the University of the Arts Helsinki and worked at both the the Swedish Theatre and the Finnish National Theatre before concentrated on her screen career. She made a brief television appearance while in school, on a 2004 episode of the series Fling, and then made her feature debut in 2011’s Where Once We Walked. Since then her most notable roles have been Marika in 2012’s Naked Harbour, Inka in the 2013 TV movie Dagmamman, Tita in the 2018 miniseries Liberty, and the titular writer/artist in the biographical drama Tove in 2020. Alma’s long-awaited nude debut came in 2023, when she rips away her clothes for some fantastic full frontal in the six-part Swedish television series Blackwater (Händelser vid vatten).
