Go, go Power Rangers! Born in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, the limber Amy Jo Johnson (or AJ) was a teen gymnast. At 18, she moved to New York City to pursue an acting career, attending the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, but she never strayed from her gymnast roots. Besides the pretzel-twisting body fun, AJ was able to use her talent to jump into the physical role she's best know for, the Pink Ranger on the hit kiddie show Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (1993). Nope, the "pink" part of her name doesn't stand for what you dirty birds out there may think, but AJ still looked red hot in that form-fitting superhero costume. AJ then moved up to slightly more adult fare in the made-for-VH1 movie Sweetwater (1999). This drama follows a band that opened Woodstock and then disappeared into obscurity, and it marked another missed opportunity to see AJ unclothed. She remained on the clothes-friendly confines of TV in a role on Felicity (1998), and appeared on the clothing-optional big screen in Liars' Club (2001) and The Pursuit of Happiness (2001). Happiness indeed, as we finally got to see AJ's pink-nosed Power Rangers. AJ didn't exactly flash us in Flashpoint (2008), but she did give us a peek at her B-cup cleavage. More recently, AJ appeared in Hard Ground (2003) and The Space Between (2017), and Tammy's Always Dying (2019), but none of those roles employed her mighty morphin' flexibility or her limber, naked assets. Here's hoping for more high kicks!
