Born to a family of choreographers in Strezhevoy, Tomsk oblast, Russia, Angelia spent her childhood studying ballet and competing in ballroom dance tournaments before deciding to switch gears and attending the Higher Theatre School Mikhail Semenovich Shchepkin and pursue an acting career. She started working professionally in 2015, putting her dance training to good use in series like Balerina (2017) and Salsa (2018).
