If Annie Potts looks familiar, it’s because she’s wacky secretary Janine from the first two Ghostbusters movies (1984-2021). And if her voice rings a bell, it’s due to playing an animated Bo Peep in the Toy Story franchise, even returning for the long-overdue Toy Story 4 (2019). But before Ms. Potts was picking up all those royalty checks, the kickin’ chick from Kentucky kicked off her career with Corvette Summer (1978), which featured a brief but mam-orable glimpse of her dashboard ornaments and tail end! While playing a waitress in Breaking the Rules (1992), the delightful dish served up a heaping helping of her pokies thanks to a flimsy T-shirt. The busy babe bounced back to the boob-tube to star in the CBS sitcom Love & War (1993-1995), which scored her a Primetime Emmy nomination. Plucky parts on Dangerous Minds (1996-1997), Hercules (1998), Any Day Now (1998-2002), GCB (2012), Royal Pains (2013-2018), Chicago Med (2015-2016), and the Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon (2017-present) followed, as did our growing affection for sassy Annie Sex-Potts!
