From her humble beginnings in Charlotte, North Carolina, this stage and screen actress has come far in just a short amount of time. After graduating from Northwest School of the Arts and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s School of Music, Dance, and Theatre, Ashlei went from being an extra in the 2014 movie Selma to making her Broadway debut in The Crucible in just two years. She started appearing on television in 2015 with a small role on Gotham, and would eventually rack up credits on shows like Homeland (2016-2017), Cruel Summer (2021), Rap Sh!t (2022), and NCIS: Los Angeles (2022-2023). Ashlei’s probably most known for playing Levar Burton’s daughter Ensign Sidney La Forge on Star Trek: Picard in 2023, and in 2024, she not only nabbed a recurring role on NBC’s Chicago Med, she also starred in the Tubi Original film What Happens in Miami. Unfortunately, what happens doesn’t involve Ashlei going nude but we do at least get to see her in a few sexy bikini tops while traipsing around the city. With no signs of her career slowing down, hopefully Ashlei’s career takes a Sharpe turn towards showing us her Chest-nuts!
