With straight, jet-black hair framing the perfect, pleasing oval of her cherubic and placid face as pale and deeply lustrous as a pearl, queenly Mississippian Brenda Venus might easily have posed as though rising out of an oyster shell for the Renaissance painter Botticelli's immortal Birth of Venus.
