Brunette, with breasts the perfect size for palming and a rear asset that is every bit as pert as her clever, pretty face, Brinke Stevens is a faux bimbo. The San Diego, California-born skinstress has flashed and flounced through more than eighty B-grade productions since her debut in Necromancy (1972), but is actually a brainiac who used to go to StarTrek conventions and pursued a PhD at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. When she overstepped her boundaries during a study at SeaWorld, the school kicked her out and she had to settle for raising the PH of our D's as a model and actress. Early in her career, Brinke was the Meryl Streep of group shower scenes, washing her nude body in The Slumber Party Massacre (1982), Private School (1983) and The Man who Wasn't There (1983). Brian de Palma came calling next, and suddenly Brinke was Holly, the star of the fake porno "Holly Does Hollywood" in Body Double (1984). After that her camera-ready rack, bush, and buns headed to such dopey-sounding titles as Slave Girls from Beyond Infinity (1987) and Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama (1988). Brinke's expertise in group showering again showed up as the only naked person in The Naked Gun (1988). before she both starred in and wrote Teenage Exorcist (1991). Teenage boys were exorcising something out of their bodies, checking out her bush during a bathtub scene in Haunting Fear (1991), before Brinke returned to the shower for some lesbian sex in Hybrid (1997). The Naked Monster (2005) poked fun at her showering past, with text over-laid on her naked body explaining how important the shower scene is to the movie. Brinke still acts, but has also recently published a science fiction novel and a comic book. She was on the brink of studying sea creatures for a living, but instead we've spent nearly four decades studying her wet body.
