One of the best things about no-budget genre schlock is that it has no delusions of grandeur. You just dropped your four bucks for aliens, explosions, and a few stray hooters, so that’s what you’re gonna get. Two of Carmen Lacatus’s movies were precisely this sort of cinematic silliness, but both delivered the B-movie goods . . . so who’s complaining? Carmen’s debut came in Huntress: Spirit of the Night (1991), and that’s where you can see some quick boobage as she chills on the floor with her fella. Five years later Carmen broke out the cannage once again in Forbidden Zone: Alien Abduction (1996), which is what a movie would look like if Red Shoe Diaries and The X-Files had a baby together. (In other words: a whole lotta nakedness.)
