Bavarian-born actress Christa Linder was voted Miss Austria 1962, and appeared in Playboy in a pictorial called “The Girls of Munich” in 1972—but she actually made a whole lot of films outside of both Austria and Germany, having quite the little career in Mexico, as well as Italy, France, Spain, Hungary, Lebanon, and even Hollywood. She made her debut in the West Germany film Condemned to Sin (1964), followed it up with the Austrian film The Fountain of Love (1966), then played Pamela Hudson in the West Germany, Italy, and Yugoslavia collab film Kiss Kiss…Kill Kill (1966), the first Kommissar X film (like James Bond). The year 1966 was a good one for Christa, and she also starred as Helen Remington in the Italian-language flick Countdown to Doomsday (1966), produced by Italy, France, and West Germany; and as Bridget in The Tall Women(1966), a Spanish-language film also starring Hollywood’s Anne Baxter, and created by Spain, Italy, Austria, and Liechtenstein. The blonde bombshell played Gisela in another Kommissar X adventure, Kill Me Gently(1967), then headed to Mexico, where she hung out until 1972, mostly playing the “gringa,” a sexy outsider. She started as Angela in The Drifter in the Rain (1968), then shared her bare breasts as Silvia in El ardiente deseo (1971), or Burning desire, and as Christa in La noche de los mil gatos (1972), Night of a 1000 Cats. She eventually brought her fine form to Italy, where she gave it all up in Confessioni segrete di un convent di clausura, or Secret confessions in a cloistered convent, starting with her lush ass, then moving up to a close-up of her fab boobs and thick nipples, and even flashing a bit of kitty in the process. Christa bequeathed boobage upon the Italians and the Mexicans a few more times, and eventually found her way to Hollywood, to appear in Hooper (1978) with Burt Reynolds and Sally Field, as well as a 1981 episode of Trapper John, M.D. Quite the international delight, right?
