As the Chinese market becomes increasingly important to Hollywood, filmmakers are finding out what American movies work and which don't overseas. For example, while they like our superhero and action films, they don't get our brand of comedy. But if Chinese movie studios are looking to break into the American market, might we suggest starting with the works of Chinese charmer Christine Hung? Yes, Christine is a shining starlet within the Asian erotic film skindustry, in large part thanks to the voluptuous vixen's first role in Yu pu tuan II (1996), which translates to "Sex and Zen II." Yes, there's some yin, some yang, and a whole lot of pleasuring wang in the film, as well as the third one of the trilogy, Sex and Zen III (1998) which came out two years later. But our banana got biggest when she played the lead role in the 2002 romance The Fruit is Swelling. It's a bizarre bodyswap comedy about a pair of eight year olds who magically become adults, undoubtedly written by a screenwriter who thought "you know that super uncomfortable scene in Big (1988)? What if we tried to outdo that by a thousand?" But while that plot would never fly in the west, Western flies would still unzip to Christine's body of work in it. We see her big bonkers and bush when she gets out of the shower, then we see her banging some mustached chubster on a desk. But by far the best scene is when we see some guy washing his hand in her soaking panties, before she rides on top of him in a computer chair and we get to watch her Chinese Cha-cha in action. Forget a laptop, that's what we want on top of our laps! Christine left acting in 2009, after starring in Take-Away Spirit (2009).
