Mexican actress Claudia Guzmán is recognizable to American audiences for her appearances in such English-language fare as Murder in Three Acts (1986) with Tony Curtis, and One Man’s War (1991) with Anthony Hopkins--unfortunately, those brief appearances belie her incredible star power in her native land, where she made over 50 big-screen movies. She started on television with two of only four series she ever appeared in, as Elisa in Nosotras la mujeres and Dorita in Infamia, both in 1981, then launched right into her movie career and didn’t look back. She made her skinematic debut in La Salvaje ardiente (1984), or The Fiery Savage, openly displaying all three beautiful Bs. In 1985, she starred as Coquis in Terror and Black Lace—which earned her a Best Supporting Actress Ariel Award, Mexico’s equivalent of an Oscar. Claudia also got nominated for two more Best Supporting Actress Ariels, one for Violación (1989), where she bared her breasts and butt; and one for El jardin de la paz (1989), or The garden of peace. In addition to those awards, Claudia also gets Mr. Skin’s Great Nudity! title, as she repeats her skintillating moments in El Garañón (1989); Comezón a la Mexicana (1989), or They started Mexican; and Para todas tengo (1990), or I have for all. Claudia faded out her career much as she began it, with recurring roles on television series; she played Rosita in Clarisa in 1993, and Ofelia in Te sigo amando, or I still love you, in 1996. Seems fitting, since Mr. Skin still loves seeing Claudia in all her films.
