Five-foot-eight-inch voluptuous 36-23-37 beauty Claudine Auger came into prominence at the age of fifteen when she won the title of Miss France in 1958. An alumna of the Paris Drama Conservatory, she went on to play small, eye-candy parts in films with people such as Yul Brynner, Charles Aznavour, Brigitte Bardot, and even artist Pablo Picasso. She suddenly emerged from the background in the role of Domino in the James Bond epic Thunderball (1965)—and balls have been thundering ever since. In the whirlwind of overnight fame, Claudine went on to do a Playboy spread and then appeared on American national TV in a special starring Bob Hope and Danny Thomas. She went on to make some fine European films, such as Triple Cross (1966), The Killing Game (1968), and The Bay of Blood (1972), before settling back into being French dressing. She played the role of sexy scenic conquest to a T in such celluloid dross as Twitch of the Death Nerve (1971) and The Black Belly of the Tarantula (1972). A French reviewer once observed, "She was born to fill a multitude of alluring bikinis!" As far as nudity goes, there's a quick flash in the movie The Head of the Family (1967), and she reclines in the all together and exposes a sweet upturned breast in A Few Hours of Sunlight (1971). HD technology even unearthed a nip slip and a bit of caged monkey in Thunderball. Today Claudine is primarily making French TV commercials, most notably for the Concorde. Perhaps they figure if all else fails, Claudine can still get it up!
