Crystal Harris (otherwise known as Crystal Hefner) spent her first seven years in England with her British-born parents before moving to sunny San Diego, where the warm weather and California sunshine perfectly suited the budding beach bunny. She met Hugh Hefner at a party on Halloween 2008, when she was still a psychology major at San Diego State University, and the blonde bombshell quickly rose from a Playboy “Co-ed of the week” to one of The Girls Next Door, starring in the reality television series in 2009. While a PG-13 version of the show, which centered around Hef, the Playboy Mansion, and all things Playboy, aired on the E! network, they also shot and later released a saucier version—which is where Crystal bared all her goodies for the camera in a Playmate test shoot. Unfortunately, she was billed as Mrs. Crystal Hefner—and the issue was printed before she got cold feet and famously called off the nuptials with only a week to spare.
