Born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Los Angeles, California, Elisabeth Harnois attended Wesleyan University, where she earned a degree in film studies, before running full-force into an entertainment career. She was a G-rated pixie in One Magic Christmas (1985) before taking on roles in the mystery thriller Where Are the Children (1986) and Facade (1999).
