It's hard not to sing the praises of Emmy Rossum, a classically trained child opera singer turned perfect ten-er actress willing to take her clothes off for our viewing pleasure. At age seven Emmy joined the Metropolitan Opera Children's Chorus and toured the world with stars like Luciano Pavarotti for years before turning to acting. Emmy was immediately successful in that arena as well, landing the role of Abigail Williams on As the World Turns at just eleven years old. She then showed up in a wide variety of television shows and movies before making a huge splash as Sean Penn's missing daughter in Mystic River (2003). We wish we could snuggle with her for warmth like Jake Gyllenhaal did in The Day After Tomorrow (2004), a role she chose just before she got a Golden Globe nomination for the lead role in Phantom of the Opera (2004). By this point, all we asked of Emmy is that she go nude someday and little did we know she was about to deliver in a major way!

After teaming with Kurt Russell in Poseidon (2006) Emmy turned our world upside down as Fiona Gallagher on Showtime's Shameless. On the show, Emmy's nudity was matchless, since she went topless and bottomless but was never less than unbelievably sexy. You like skylines? Check out Emmy's tata towers as she rides a guy in front of a beautiful view of the Windy City. You like pools? Emmy goes skinny dipping and flashes some fanny. Add to that a shower scene, a lip slip of her Rossum blossom when she gets out of bed in black panties, and whatever variation of hide the possum in the Rossum you're into, from cowgirl to missionary, and even some against a wall. Emmy left the show after nine seasons, and to date, it's the only source of nudity she has given us. 

Emmy Rossum’s Later Work

While she showed some underwear in You're Not You (2014) and Comet (2014), she'd mainly been directing, with episodes of Modern Love and Animal Kingdom under her belt. Then in 2022, she returned to the boob tube as the titular top-heavy beauty in the Peacock series Angelyne. Yes, we know the breasts were fake but we still would have liked a better look at them. She looked like herself again in 2023’s The Crowded Room but only stripped down to to her undies, though she still made our pants feel crowded. Hopefully she gives us another peek at what's under her belt, and under her blouse, sooner rather than later.
