Hot damn, she’s from Potsdam! Not that Mr. Skin knows anything about the German city from whence Esther Zimmering came, but it sounded good in his head, and here it is in the bio. And the “hot damn” part really is appropriate, since this dark-haired hottie gives plenty of reasons for the exclamation. She came out of the skin gate at a full trot as the character Lisa Klein in the TV movie Der Liebe entgegen (2002), flashing her lily white complexion against a swarthy dude, her pale pink nips poking out. There’s even a teasing peek at her triangle. (Gotta love German TV censors and their so-okay attitude about flesh on the literal boob tube.) So impressive was Esther in her performance—basically her first real role—that she took home a Promotional Award at the German Television Awards, which is like a Primetime Emmy. It’s no wonder the actress has found fame and accolades; she’s been involved in theater since she was a kid, and studied at the Academy of Dramatic Arts “Ernst Busch” Berlin. She’s known for speaking multiple languages (German, English, Russian, Spanish), playing multiple instruments (piano, clarinet, drums, violin), performing multiple dances (Tango, Salsa, African), and for being naked in multiple roles (that last one is courtesy of Mr. Skin). In addition to her early nudity on television, you can find the enchanting Esther naked on the big screen in the role of Dani in Im Schwitzkasten (2005), as Paula in Blindes Vertrauen (2005), playing Gräfin in Lulu (2006), as Francesca in Vivere (2007) and as Eva in Ins Blaue (2012)—among several other projects.
