Without Sweden, we wouldn’t have Spotify, Saab, ABBA, or Stockholm star Eva Röse! The radio, TV, and film actress from Scandinavia kicked off her amazing career with the rom-com Adam & Eva (1997). After appearing in a few more flicks, including Längtans blåa blomma (The Blue Flower of Longing) (1998), Magnetisörens femte vinter (Magnetist's Fifth Winter) (1999), and Blå Måndag (Blue Monday) (2001), the blonde scored a role in Minä ja Morrison (Me and Morrison) (2001) directed by Lenka Hellstedt. Based on Katariina Souri’s breast-seller, the romantic Finnish drama features Eva’s character riding a guy in bed—in the buff! Even though it’s not actually Eva’s flesh that’s flashed, we can still appreciate the skintastic sight of her body double’s bare back, butt, and breasts! However, it’s Ms. Röse who exposes her range in the action-comedy Kopps (2003), the horror film Villmark (2003), and the fantasy-thriller Storm (2006). We’d like to add Steven Spielberg’s historic drama Munich (2005) to that list, but her scenes wound up on the cutting room floor. Eva did participate in Stefan Jarl’s documentary Submission (2010), which is not as suggestive as its title suggests. Fortunately, the enchantress did very well on TV with recurring roles on a number of series, including Kotikatu (AKA The Home Street). She also appeared in miniseries such as Talismanen (The Talisman) and The Days the Flowers Bloom. To date, she’s best known for her portrayal of the sinister android Niska in the sci-fi series Real Humans. Yet that may change since, as the star of the crime thriller Maria Wern, Eva thrills fans! Now if only she'd give them a taste of her Swedish fish...
