Fiery-tressed Frances Fisher is known for portraying fierce women on stage, film and television. After homing her craft in New York theaters, the ambitious ingenue turned to daytime soaps—playing Detective Red Saxon on The Edge of Night (1976-1981) and Suzette Saxon on The Guiding Light (1985).
