A South African stunner with a background in musical theatre, Frances is a graduate of both the Cape Academy of Performing Arts and the University of Cape Town and used her training to land her first screen role in 2015. After going by the name Frances Claire at first, then Frances Douglas, she decided on the full hyphenated moniker and has been seen in films like Samson (2018), The Kissing Booth (2018) and its sequels, and Slumber Party Massacre (2021). On the small screen she’s most known for her work on Netflix, including the series Troy: Fall of a City (2018) and an episode of Black Mirror (2019), but she still makes time to appear on stage Cape Town as well. In 2023, the same year she trod the boards in Delela at the Baxter Theatre Center, Netflix crowned her with a leading role in its erotic thriller series Fatal Seduction and we got to see Frances lock lips with Ngelekanyo Ramulondi in the second season. We'd say those sapphic smooches on a sofa is her best work sofar!
