In the late 80s and early 90s, Georgia was most known as a stand-up comedian, touring the country and filming pilots for sitcoms that never made it to air. She shifted gears after the death of her mother and relocated to Los Angeles, where she made her film debut in the 1996 indie film Never Met Picasso. Georgia plays Lucy, a lesbian who shares a sapphic moment with Lois Lane herself, Margot Kidder. Now there’s a headline worthy of the Daily Planet! She added a few more credits to her resume, including a spot on the sitcom Ellen (1997), the 2003 comedy Wave Babes (which she also wrote and produced), and the 2009 short film Knock’em Dead, but then in 2011, Georgia left LA for Seattle, where she had lived previously. Georgia re-entered the spotlight a few years later when she wrote Follow You Everywhere – A Memoir: Growing Up and Coming Out in Texas and then turned it into a stage piece, but we’re still holding out hope she’ll return to Hollywood and come out of her clothes!
