You can’t always judge a book by its cover, but sometimes you can tell a whole lot about an actress simply by the roles she’s played. Take British babe Gilly Grant (but be sure to bring her back). The blonde bombshell burst onto London’s swinging sixties scene when she debuted in Pete Walker’s crime flick The Big Switch (1968). Boasting shapely gams and perfect mams, the sexy ingénue took on suggestive roles such as “Miss Maidenhead Fern” in Can Heironymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness? (1969) and “Suzy the Slag” in The Bullet Machine (1970). The stacked starlet then revealed her great bedside manner (as well as her ravishing rack and rump) as “Nurse in Bath” for the racy romp Carry on Matron (1972). But not before she bared her breasts and bum per her provocative portrayal of “Striptease Artist” in 1969’s sexploitation flick School for Sex (also known as School for Love). Suffice it to say, Meryl Streep she ain’t. But who cares if Ms. Grant never won an Academy Award when her performances can grant a statuette in our pants! Indeed, Mr. Skin should have given Gilly one of his Anatomy Awards for her topless turn as “Sally G-String” in the British sex comedy Carry on Camping (1969). Luckily, her Carry on images resurfaced in the television documentary Carry on Laughing (1981). Alas, this luscious lass has not surfaced since. But even if Gilly doesn’t have a bulging resume, you’ll feel a bulge while watching her!
