Chinese actress Hao Lei (or Lei Hao) made her professional debut in the TV series Waiting for You and stayed on TV for a while, subsequently sexifying the small screen in shows like Don't Cry Seventeen, Sisters, Home, and The Brink. Her first film role was in 2001's The Story of First Love. However, her first major film appearance, in that it gave us major wood, was in the romantic drama Summer Palace (2006). She gives a three-B performance in the film, which made it banned in her homeland. Along with withholding distribution, the Chinese government officially censured the film's director Lou Ye and producer Nai An. Both were barred from making movies for five years. Thankfully the blacklist didn't include Hao, so she kept baring her beautiful face in movies like The Warlords (2007), Empire of Silver (2009), The Fourth Portrait (2010), Love You 10,000 Years (2010), and The Man Behind the Courtyard House (2011), and in TV shows like After the Night: Storm, My Brother's Name Is Shun Liu, Sister Brides, and Dad I Was Pregnant with Your Child.
