What's in a name? Certainly more than Skin Central can say from Fluchtweg St. Pauli -- Großalarm für die Davidswache (1971). What were the filmmakers thinking? Oh, it's a German production. Well, that makes more sense, especially when using the UK title translation Jailbreak in Hamburg. The thriller also makes pants-sense in that it's the first flash on-screen from German brunette Heidy Bohlen, who made her debut in the provocatively entitled Take off Your Clothes and Live (1963), a sentiment we can all get behind. As randy as Heidy may have been on the big screen, it's on the boob tube that she really shined our tool. In the made-for-TV movie Tatort--Strandgut (1972), she's peeped on the beach getting lovely with a four-eyed schmo and showing off all that nature gave her. And that's only in the credits.
