Small-breasted, redheaded Australian-Canadian actress Helene Joy is aptly named. She's been a joy to watch ever since she appeared on stage at Perth's Kewdale Senior High School. Theater was her calling; she subsequently studied at Curtin University and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and performed with Bell Shakespeare Theatre Company and the Melbourne Theatre Company. Even before Helene reached adulthood, she was touring Europe as a theater actress. Her first screen roles were on Australian TV during the mid to late '90s, having appeared in shows like G.P., Snowy River: The McGregor Saga, Big Sky, and Stingers. At the turn of the millennium, Helene's Canadian boyfriend convinced her to take her talents to the Great White North and she hasn't looked back. Canada had many roles to offer Ms. Joy--and Ms. Joy had many skin rolls to offer viewers. If you want to see her tiny bundles of joy, check out the Canadian drama film Desolation Sound (2005). The arthouse picture stars Jennifer Beals, but in terms of nudity Helene is the star attraction here. There’s side rackage in the tub, a left boob with co-star Ed Begley Jr., and the full pair at the hour mark. It’s no wonder that this was such an award-winning production in its native Canada. Currently, Helene stars on the CBC drama Murdoch Mysteries as Dr. Julia Ogden, a role she's held for 13 seasons but for which she's remained clothed. The only mystery to us is why such an attractive actress as Helene Joy has been such a skin flint.
