Once you pop, you can’t stop. That was the one-time slogan for potato chips that came in a can, and it seems to also fit Joan Pringle—once we saw her foxy figure, we couldn’t stop looking. The New York City native was a staple on television for over three decades, after making her debut as Shirley Edmonds on the TV series Emergency! in 1973. In 1974, she landed the regular role of Diana Sanger on Ironside, followed by one as Tracy Curtis Taylor on That’s My Mama in 1975. Because her career has mostly been on the little screen, that means opportunities to see more than a bit of skin have been limited—but not missing.
