In spite of her surname, which conjures up images of meat-pole mayhem, Julie Cox is all woman. The only trouble bedding her is that besides my equipment there will be more Cox in the bed and that usually makes it difficult for the down home team to perform. She started her career in 1983 with a bit part in the made-for-Australian-TV movie Who Killed Baby Azaria? Unfortunately, Julie remained mired in supporting actress obscurity through such productions as The NeverEnding Story III, Zoya and The Talking Grave before finally landing her breakthrough performance as the soon-to-be doomed Princess Diana in the 1996 made-for-TV flick Princess in Love. Perhaps even more unfortunately, that little gem of a movie marks her most revealing role to date, which adds up to little more than a swimming pool scene where Julie trots about in a bikini. Yeah, it’s sexy but it’s not quite the skinage we were hoping for. A well placed nip-slip would have been quite welcome, your Majesty! Since then, she’s appeared in such notable productions as the mini-series version of Dune, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and The War Bride, although none of her outings have shed any substantial skin on the situations at hand. We’re still holding out hope over here in the lonely cavernous headquarters at Skin Central.
