This British comedian started out mainly as a writer after studying film and literature at Warwick University, penning material for The Mash Report, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, and Tell Me Everything throughout the late 2010s and early 2020s. In 2023, she got the chance to writer, produce, and star in her own quasi-fictional series Such Brave Girls, a sitcom based on Kat’s own mental health struggles. She plays Josie, a woman who never got over the trauma of being abandoned by her father and ignores her attraction to women in favor of staying with safe, mediocre men. In Season 2, the steamy sapphic tension between her and Carla Woodcock becomes too much and the ladies end up in several lesbian liplocks.
