Katharina Wackernagel. It’s a fantastic name, and luckily, there’s an equally fantastic career and woman behind it. This German-born beauty has been making beautiful music on the big screen since her debut as Leonora in Leonora’s Song (1998), and on the television screen as series regular Sonja König in Hinter Gittern – Der Frauenknast, translated as Behind Bars – The Woman’s Barn, that same year. She moved on to the title role of Tanja in the series of the same name, starring in 39 episodes from 1997-2000. Other brief parts followed, but it wasn’t until the drama Hat er Arbeit? (2000), or Does he Have Work?, that Katharina shares a bit more of herself, offering up a quick flash of her breasts in the tub. The dark-haired, full-figured cutie gave us a slightly better glance as Pia in the TV movie Bettgeflüster & Babyglück (2005), English title Baby You’re Mine. She’s also sexy as sin in black lingerie in Freundinnen furs Leben (2006), or Girlfriends for Life, and it does things to Mr. Skin when she turns upside down in a bra, then later upside down again—there’s just so much gravity in progress. Pretty Katharina has appeared in more than 60 titles on television, ranging from bit parts to series regular to mini-series and movies. Some of her more well-known parts include Leonie Bloch in Bloch from 2002-2008, a recurring role as Nina Peterson on Stralsund from 2009-2020, as Heiki Thom in 2009 and 2011 in Tatort, Margarete Lowe in the mini-series Das Adlon. Eine Familiensaga (2013), Lobbyistin as Lucilla Moos in 2017, and Pan Tau in 2020. Great name. Great rack. Great dame.
