After growing up and getting her first taste of performing in New Orleans, studying at both the Center for the Creative Arts and Louisiana State University, Katherine spent a short time with Upright Citizens Brigade in New York before making her way to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. She only had a few television and movie appearances under her belt before she took that belt, and everything else off, for her first feature lead role in the indie comedy Sex-Positive.
