Koike Mahoco is an Asian arouser who first showed up in the business with Il dio serpente (1970), an Italian horror flick about a beautiful woman and a snake-like love god. A good start, even if it was in an uncredited role. She then appears in Emmanuelle in Bangkok (1976), which was good enough to let us finish, thanks to some extremely erotic sex scenes. In this sequel directed by sleaze master Joe D’Amato, we find sensual gem Laura Gemser working as a journalist on assignment in Thailand. In pursuit of a story, Laura visits a massage parlor and sees a woman get a naked rub down from Koike, with the two going bush to bush as Koike lathers her itty bitty breasticle buds in suds. Since the woman getting treated ends up soco loco thanks to Mahoco, in more ways than one, this of course turns into some full on lesbian action, though we also get to see Koike introducing a Western man to the delights of the far East. Koike could Thai us into knots, and we'd like it! Miss Mahoco only appeared in four movies total, with roles in Black Cobra Woman (1976) and Emmanuelle in America (1977) coming soon after, and marking the end of her film career. Still, it's pretty amazing to think that in the seventies if you ventured to Thailand and spent a couple bucks you could get a slim seductress like Koike to straddle you for a little rub and scrub that would please your knub. Seventies hippies wanted to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony? They should have bought the world a session with Koike!
