Libby Tanner was born Elizabeth Tanner in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Growing up she had no ambitions of becoming an actress, but her high school art teacher pushed her towards it. Thank god for that teacher, as Libby has appeared in over 25 films and TV shows since making her debut on the Australian crime series Bony in 1992.
