It's the rare actress who is secure enough in her allure that she can play a frump. Lili Taylor often downplays her looks and even went so far as to star in Dogfight (1991), which follows a group of guys who are having a contest to see who can pick the ugliest girl. Even in that role, Lili's spooky sensuality shone through, but this lovely lady has always known how to power through adversity and come out on top. Born in Glencoe, Illinois, Lili attended the Theater School at DePaul University until she was cut from the acting program. Lili persevered, and now she's racked up more than enough credits to prove DePaul wrong.
