Brunette beauty Lindsay Crouse is a widely used, highly capable actress who has amassed a great body of work without showing much of her body (much to Mr. Skin's chagrin). Bare bottom or no, Ms. Crouse has proven herself a magnetic screen presence who brings a brainy, wry-tongued charm to her performances. Her debut film was a big one: the Oscar-nominated political flick All the President's Men (1976). She followed that up with roles in more well-received films, including the Paul Newman-led sports classic Slap Shot (1977), the Sidney Lumet-directed crime-drama Prince of the City (1981), and the Paul Newman-led, Sidney Lumet-directed courtroom drama The Verdict (1982). In 1984, Lindsay garnered an Oscar nom for her role in the Sally Field dustbowl drama Places in the Heart (1984). She also garnered rave reviews for her lead role in the noir-ish thriller House of Games (1987), written by her then-husband David Mamet. After a scathing hot '80s, Lindsay inspired chills and thrills as power-mad military scientist Professor Maggie Walsh on the popular '90s series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. More recently, the New York native scored recurring roles in the series Hack, Dragnet, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. And although her film work slowed down, she still got to perform in the Kevin Costner thriller Mr. Brooks (2007) and the indie rom-dram Somewhere Slow (2013). Lindsay's only performance that's worthy of Mr. Skin's attention is in Between the Lines (1977). He almost sees her nip while she's between the sheets with a guy. Crouse, but no cigar.
