Birthplace: Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The main reason that more skinthusiasts aren't setting up Web sites devoted to Lynn Whitfield is that she hit the entertainment scene at least ten years too late. If black, stacked, and delicious Lynn had brought her hard-black-lady-with-a-soft-chocolate-center attitude around in the early 1970s, she might be mentioned in the same panting breath as Pam Grier is today. Too bad for skin history, and for Lynn too, that her hydraulic front and rear bumpers didn't pull up for attention until 1981, and she had to settle for being an Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee instead of a generational spank bank mainstay. Lynn was born in the Bayous of Baton Rouge, Louisiana but graduated from the famed HBCU Howard University rather than hometown LSU, before heading to NYC to make it in theater. It didn't take very long for her to find theater success, though she quickly headed to the small screen soon after. In 1981, Lynn made her TV debut on three episodes of Hill Street Blues before moving on to episodes of This is the Life, Cagney & Lacey, and Miami Vice. She also started showing up in movies like Silverado (1985) and Jaws: The Revenge (1987). After starring as Dr. Cory Banks on the short lived ABC medical drama HeartBeat, Lynn starred as Josephine Baker in HBO's The Josephine Baker Story (1991). Decades before Sonia Rollan portrayed her in Midnight in Paris (2011) or Carra Patterson portrayed her in Lovecraft Country, it was Lynn for the win (the Emmy for "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie") as the sensual black dancer that took Paris by storm in the 1920's. Lynn's perfectly portioned fields of tit are all over the movie, with her consistently dancing topless for scores of pleased Parisian fans. All the lads were pleased with that role, but baffled when she opted to next appear as Sgt. Ladd in the Pauly Shore comedy In the Army Now (1994). Soon after, she opted fro more critically friendly fare, like Eve's Bayou (1997) and Stepmom (1998) before returning to comedy alongside Chris Rock in Head of State (2003). Lately Lynn has been steadily working in movies like Madea's Family Reunion (2006) and The Rebound (2011) as well as television shows like Without a Trace, How to Get Away With Murder, and Mistresses. While we haven't seen any nudity since a brief nip slip in A Thin Line Between Love and Hate (1996), we absolutely loved her booming and bouncing cleavage in a red dress in Lap Dance (2014), although we hated that we didn't get to see her bigger than they used to be bosoms. Most recently, Lynn has been starring as Daisy Mae Greenleaf, the vicious "first lady" of the Cavalry Fellowship church on OWN's Greenleaf. We'd pay loads of green to see Lynn leave her clothes behind again!
