Maria was preparing for medical school despite winning a local talent show in 2012, but then she abruptly diverted from that path and chose to attend the the National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź like many of her fellow Polish counterparts. She quickly followed that up with her feature debut in Nothing is Lost (2019), and has also been seen on the shows Osiecka (2021) and Sexify (2023), as well as the Netflix show Forgotten Love (2023).
