Marie started her career out in 1978 with a turn in the French production The Beach Hotel, and since then, she has gone on to quite the successful career in French cinema and television, including roles in Les Misérables, L’Annamite, and La Révolution française, among a host of others. Sadly, Marie has just about no name recognition Stateside, but we think that if Couples et amants would have found a bit more release “over here,” then that may be a bit different.
