A tiny waist, long limbs, and nipples that would indent a man’s chest, French actress Marie-Christine Descouard is not to be missed—at least in the “gotta see her” way. You might actually miss her in the “gone but not forgotten” way after you’ve witnessed her full-frontal nakedness as Sophie Labranche in France’s comedy film Le Roi des cons (1981), or King of the Jerks. And again as Clarisse in Le Battant (1983), or The Fighter, where the view of her bare breasts and furry kitty are a bit more brief, but lovely to look at nonetheless. It seems that directors have also missed Marie-Christine when she was gone, as three of them chose to work with her again. Claude Confortès directed her in Le Roi, and as Lola in Paulette, la pauvre petite milliardaire (1986), or Paulette, the poor little billionaire; Just Jaeckin worked with her as the actress in The Last Romantic Lover(1978) and Girls (1980); and Georges Lautner cast her to star with Jean-Paul Belmondo in both The Professional (1981), as Doris Frederiksen, and Happy Easter (1984), as Melle Fleury. On French television, she played Cerise in the mini-series Billet doux, or Soft Ticket, in 1984; and starred as Charlette in the TV movies Honorin et la Lorelei (1992), and its follow-up, Polly West est de retour (1993), or Polly West is back. Not one to be satisfied with just on-screen work, Marie-Christine also wrote a play, Le Printemps de la Grâce, or The Spring of Grace, which has been performed steadily throughout France for almost two decades.
