There are some actresses who get into the groove right from the start of their career. Such a treat is Marina Pierro, a black-haired beauty born in Campania, Italy, who racked up four film credits in the first year of her debut, starting as a maid in I prosseneti. After an uncredited role in the classic horror film Suspiria (1977), the actress hooked up with French director Walerian Borowczyk, an export from Poland notorious and controversial for the explicitly erotic and sensational content of his movies. They did five films and one TV episode together, their first film being Behind Convent Walls (1978), a drama about what happens when nuns go wild, with Marina as Sister Veronica. Next up was Immoral Women (1979), with the actress starring as Margherita Luti in one of three erotic tales; she’s the muse and lover of a painter, and all of the star’s lush curves are ripe and visible for admiration—from pink-tipped breasts to her full derriere to her hairy honeypot. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Miss Osbourne (1981) followed, with more nakedness from the magnificent Marina, some of it wet and slippery, some while wielding a knife. The last two films with Borowczyk were Art of Love (1983) with Marina as Claudia, an ancient Roman wife exploring Ovid’s “art of love” philosophy; and Love Rites (1987) as Myriam the actress and prostitute who teaches Hugo more than he bargained for. The duo’s final erotic collaboration was for an episode of the NC-17 French TV series Softly from Paris in 1990. Titled “Un traitement justifié,” Marina is Bianca, who takes on a lover, giving him her soft curves and undying attention. Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!
