Such a treat is Marina Pierro, a black-haired beauty born in Campania, Italy, who racked up four film credits in the first year of her debut, starting as a maid in I prosseneti. After an uncredited role in the classic horror film Suspiria (1977), the actress hooked up with French director Walerian Borowczyk, an export from Poland notorious and controversial for the explicitly erotic and sensational content of his movies. They did five films and one TV episode together, their first film being Behind Convent Walls (1978), a drama about what happens when nuns go wild, with Marina as Sister Veronica.
