The bad news is this: Marlena MacGuire, the lovely young lass whose beaming smile is shining out from the photo directly above this bio, only managed to appear in one movie in her all-too-short career in Skinema. That movie was, of course, Five Easy Pieces, released in 1970. Marlena didn’t even have all that big of a part in the flick, either. She played “Twinky,” the ever-grinning pal of “Betty” who was played by Sally Struthers, no less. Although both of the ladies appeared in a rather memorable scene in which neither of them is wearing much more than a bra and a pair of panties, Sally’s the only one of the two who actually got around to flashing any flesh in the flick. It’s a real drag, too, considering that Marlena’s pretty easy on the eyes… And seeing as it’s been a few decades since she appeared on film, we’re guessing that any chances of a magnificent comeback are pretty slim…
