A statuesquely structured babe-alicious blonde, Ohio-born Martha Smith implanted herself into millions of male minds as sexy southern belle Babs Jansen in the immortal comedy National Lampoon’s Animal House(1978), her little pink hat, pearl necklace, and white gloves the only things remaining after her starched suit was ripped off to show a full bra and panties. She wasn’t nearly as covered up in the movie Blood Link (1982), where her character Hedwig’s bare breasts were revealed to all in multiple scenes, for many seconds. If you want to see the whole shebang, though, you’ll have to turn to the July 1973 issue of Playboy, when she was Playmate of the Month; so impressive was her photo shoot for the men’s magazine, her image was one of 48 selected for the 2007 Playboy Legacy Collection as the very best from over 15 million pics in their archive.
