She was born in LA, but moved to Spain with her family when she was eleven. Despite being so many miles away, May still felt the pull of Hollywood and started her career as an actress in Spain before coming back to the States to kick things off on the small screen in episodes of Hawaiian Eye, My Three Sons, The Real McCoys, and The Tom Ewell Show in 1961. Though she trained as a bullfighter during her time in Spain and even thought of doing it professionally, but luckily for us, she stuck with acting and after her breakout recurring role on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. in 1964, May spent the 70s and 80s making a name for herself in notorious cult films, most notably Cannibals in the Streets (1980) and Pieces (1982). In the latter, May brings out her left bumper for the first time when her pieced-together corpse falls out of a dress and onto an unsuspecting dude. May passed away in Madrid in October of 2015, but at least we got at least one look at May’s mam during her considerable career!
