Amanda Cleveland was born in Mississippi, which explains her early stage name of Missy Cleveland. She broke into the acting world with an appearance as "Massage Girl" in Cheech & Chong's Next Movie (1980), a role she could really get a feel for. In 1981 she rode on to an episode of the hit series CHiPs, which was followed closely by such films as True Confessions (1981) and Let's Do It! (1982), both of which, in spite of their rather randy titles, featured absolutely no nudity from Amanda. For that sort of thing, one must look up the Brian De Palma thriller Blow Out (1981), which features Amanda in all her naked glory a full two minutes into the movie. Sadly, the world lost the presence of this timeless beauty on August 14th, 2001. Missy will be missed.
