Born in Georgia, the brunette babe moved to Seattle, Washington, just in time to be discovered by director Kristine Peterson. Peterson was searching for compelling unknowns to cast in a film about an all-girl rock band, and Molly fit the bill. She was cast as Shelly in Slaves to the Underground (1997), the object of her bandmate Suzy’s affection. The two lady lovers indulge in multiple trysts where breasts and kitties are on full display. Things are going swell, the band is about to sign a big record deal, and then Shelly’s ex-boyfriend returns to the scene. The undecided musician—replete with full cheeks, pale pink complexion, and shoulder-length shag hair—can't make up her mind if she prefers sharing her smooth, nubile body with another chick of similar appeal, or opening up to the possibilities of sharing her nude self with her old guy. Her unclothed indecision makes us all winners, but perhaps this highly revelatory role was a case of too-much-shown-too-soon for Molly. When you give it all up on the first try, you’ve got nothing left to show. Molly only had two additional credits, one as JoAnne Chadway in the TV movie Deep Family Secrets (1997), a thriller with Richard Crenna and Angie Dickinson; and a tiny part as a theater-going girl in Scream 2 (1997), with Courteney Cox. Guess she proved she wasn’t gross and left the scene!
