Nicole’s Lebanese parents fled civil war in the 70s, having their daughter in Australia where she would grow up to study acting and drama at both Deakin University and Victoria University in Melbourne. In 2007 she landed her first television role, playing Layla Salim for thirteen episodes of the family miniseries Kick. Other noteworthy TV performances include Laila in Romper Stomper (2018),  Zahra Al-Bayati in Safe Harbour (2018) - for which she was nominated both for a Logie for Most Outstanding Supporting Actress and an AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Television Drama, and Amirah Al-Amir in On the Ropes (2018). A prominent stage actress as well, Nicole is also known for having appeared in the feature films Last Dance (2012) and Miss Fisher & the Crypt of Tears (2020), but the small screen is where she’s done her sexiest work, especially in the Amazon Prime series Troppo. She plays the lead role of Amanda, a private investigator trying to solve a mystery that may be caused by the insane heat in North Queensland, but it’s the heat between her and Zindzi Okenyo that has us working up a sweat!
