An international delight, Pauline Chan was born in Shanghai, moved to Hong Kong, and began modeling at age 15. In 1990, she entered the Miss Asia pageant, and although she didn’t win, she did catch the eye of Hong Kong’s adult film industry. She made her film debut as Linda in Queen of the Underworld (1991), and became an instant hit. Roles in Escape from Brothel, Behind the Pink Door, and Girls Without Tomorrow, all in 1992, cemented provocative Pauline as a force of nature and beauty, and a star was born.
